A small shop on Church Street. A big collection of things I love.
The truth is, this isn’t really a clothing store.
Or a gift shop.
Or a barbershop.
It’s a collection of things I genuinely enjoy, gathered under one roof.
If you stop by and leave with something great, that’s wonderful.
If you stop by, have a conversation, pet a dog, have a beer, and leave empty-handed, that’s perfectly fine too.
The door’s open either way.
Inventory comes and goes.
Sometimes I buy one.
Sometimes I buy twelve.
Sometimes I find something special at an antique market and want to share its potential in a beautiful space.
If you see something you love, it might not be here next week. Most of what comes through LaSala’s arrives in small quantities and leaves the same way.
The barber room wasn’t built to get people in and out as fast as possible.
There are plenty of places for that.
This room is slower.
A good conversation. A straight razor. A hot towel. A little peace and quiet before you walk back into the world.
Nothing revolutionary.
Just the sort of thing that shouldn’t have become rare.
